I have tried everything in the Sony LocationFree TV Net AV Quick Guide to get my LF-X5 to configure with updated DNS information. When I try to \"set\" the sytem will hang on \"updating\". The red light will light on and stay on. I can connect via the web so I know my internet connection is good. Any suggestions I can use to trouble shoot this problem?

hm.. can you connect to the internet from lf-x5 using the web browser ? do you need to use a proxy ?

what do you see when you type
http://ip.changeip.com/

in the LF-X5 web browser ?

George,

If you can email support your UserID we can look at any attempts to update and see if they are reaching our servers. It may be that the username and/or password are mismatched and cannot successfully update. Also, make sure you are using the latest firmware from the Sony site as i believe there was a fix from the initial release.
