I am currently running a mail and web server. I have a problem regarding sending emails to servers running the SORBS anti-spam server, my emails are being rejected from them. I understand this is because I am running the server on a DSL/cable connection. I understand that a smart host can send mail on your servers behalf? Do you have such a feature?

PS. what OS do your servers run?

Hello,

You should contact the sorbs list owner to have your IP removed if you truly shouldn't be listed. If you previously had an open relay and fixed it they should have no problem removing you.

We offer a relay service that you can use. Simply buy at least a 10mb storage block and then the mailbox you configure can become your outbound SMTP AUTH information.

We run a mix of FreeBSD, Windows, and some other platforms.

Thanks,
Sam

I had my domain name in qmail's rcpthosts since I started running my server!!!!! I think sorbs are just banning me because I have a dynamic IP!!!!!!!

This is possible. I don't know what the mission of the sorbs list is - but there should be more information on their site about it. I know that many large ISPs will not accept mail if you are listed on a dynamic IP address, that's why we offer the email services we do. We cater to those on Dynamic IP addresses.
