 Post subject: Round Robin/Load Balancing and/or QOS Reccomendation(s)

Does the changeip service support load balancing of multiple creations of the same alias for more then one external ip addresses?

Simple Example:www.foo.com
Resolves:
Cable Modem #1 IP Port 81
Cable Modem #2 IP Port 81
DSL Modem #1 IP Port 81

If it's not supported in all clients that you recommend, which ones do?

Also does anyone have reccomendations for QOS hardware/software to handle throttling based on subnet/IP/port ? Multiple external gateways would need to be supported. I have seen several options regarding software and hardware solutions and am curious if anyone has some positive experience to offer.

We are starting to beta test our inbound load balancing DDNS option. This lets you specify more than 1 IP address on an update, ie &myip=1.1.1.1,2.2.2.2,3.3.3.3 - our system will automatically add or delete records to create your round robin setup. Very nice : ) This is a pay option in addition to the standard dns, however email us and be part of the beta testing and receive a year free.

The Mikrotik router is a perfect choice for your needs on QoS. Check em out at http://www.Mikrotik.com/ They also have the inbound load balancing option on our service with the help of some scripts we provide.
