In the past our dDNS update specification has always been compatible with both hardware and software update clients. We support the same standards that almost all other dDNS providers do.
Typically when an update is done to your account you either update Dynamic Set 1 or 2. This gives you the ability to update groups of hosts at once without having to send an update for each individual host. We just created a week ago the &hostname= parameter, which if sent along in the dDNS update will update a single host. We had some customers ask us in the past if they could host 50 or more locations using their single domain and account. Previously only 2 update locations per account were usable but now with this hostname paramter you can have unlimited update locations.
Just wanted to give you an update ... a new dDNS specs page will be published soon that will show this new information. |

Sam, I have no idea what all this means....OK, I'm stupid, but I have an auto update going and it worked last night....today it doesn't for some reason unknown to me.
I turned it off and my url still won't work.
Is the system down or what??
All these details only serve to clog my already stuffed mind.
Help!! Fried brain here. |
