| My Router is getting an Address of 172.25.25.2 with a Gateway of 172.25.25.1. The ChangeIP page tells me that my IP is 24.28.124.238. When I try to open a WEB page at that address I get a login window. Is there any way to work with this? Or has RoadRunner successfully shut me down. |

| OK I feel dumb. Upon review of my setup I realized that my Lingo VOIP device was connected ahead of my firewall. That was where I was getting the NAT addresss from. After connecting my firewall directly to the Cable Modem and connecting the VOIP device to the LAN side of my firewall my DDNS functions correctly. Sorry about that, RoadRunner... |

Some people advocate putting your VoIP gateway ahead of your firewall if possible because of jitter caused by underpowered firewalls. A friend of mine replaced his firewall with Smoothwall because of VoIP problems.
