|

Is it possible to add new remote controls to the LF-PK1 and/or PSP ? I've got a Pace twin DTT recorder and a Technica DVD-R.
The PC software has a Pace DTT receiver, which will allow me to switch the power on and off - any other button lights the remote control light on the Pace box, but does nothing. There is also a Technica Video recorder listed, but that doesn't work.
I've downloaded the European remote controls (version 1.00) on my PSP, and again this has the Pace DTT, but no Technica stuff.
Alternatively, does anyone know if any other models listed would work with my kit - a long shot I know!

If your remote does not work, it may be in the next release of remotes from Sony.
I spoke with location free support, and they said the next release may be at the end of June. |

| That sounds promising Kybos - only a few weeks away. Was that European support that you spoke to? |

Thanks anyway Kybos - Sony have now released an update to the PC player software...plus additional individual remote control rcd files to download (all on the official Sony location free support website at http://remote.locationfree.sony.net/psp/en/index.html for European remotes)
I can now work my Pace box from the PC, but still not my Technika ( a.k.a. Yamada or Umax ) DVD recorder. Still no update for the PSP as yet though...
Not sure about the rcd file format - you can open them as plain text, but wondering if it's possible to modify them to suit....? |
