NetAV says I have to connect to Primary Router...help

I bought a WET11 ethernet bridge so I could connect my locationfree player to my cablebox wirelessly. But now when I try to connect my laptop, NetAV gives me an error saying that the solution is to connect the player to the primary router.
This is a problem because my primary router is connected to my desktop, which is far from a cablebox. Is there any way around this?? Thanks

Some bridges actually do some routing so that could be part of the problem. Also, do you have more than one device on the remote side of the bridge? Some only have a single MAC "table."
