I havn't recieved a response from support

I've emailed support like you suggested last Sunday.
It's Thursday morning and I haven't heard from them, nor has my opt out setting been changed.

Any sugestions?

Hello,

I've been working with the VeriSign engineering team to determine how to set this WhoIS opt-out after the fact. There is no way thru their portal they give us access to, but there is an API command for it. The command fails - this is why we have contacted them. I was also told by their engineering that this feature does nothing at the time - although they didn't know exactly why. I've opened up a ticket with them to get a straight answer from someone who knows. I should know something within a day or so. I'll post an update when I know.

Also - shortly we will be setting the default for all new domain registrations to whois-optout, it just sounds like a good option if you ask me.
