I could really use the ability to add NS records. In order to use my hosting provider, they require the domain to be on their DNS server, but I still need control of IPs.

What I plan on doing is setting up http://www.mydomain.com as an NS record pointing to my host. Then I will still have controll over my domain. I saw this could be done with other DNS providers I have used. What about here at ChangeIP.com?

Hello,

We are in the process of adding NS records to the ddns console. This should be completed very shortly - as its easy to accomplish. I will post an update when its available.

Thx,
Sam

We are still working on this as part of the new DNS console that will support other types of records as well. I don't have a timeframe other than it should be released before the end of the year.

I'll be having to switch registrars soon if I can't create name server records for my subdomains...my web host's automated process won't let me use other name servers to point to their IPs.

That was posted in November of '03. I am in the process of getting a dedicated server and at that point if said functionaly isn't up yet, I will need to pull out of this service. Please get it up before then, because I value your interface and don't want to lose it.
