I have two domain names. I have a corporate server with a web server and exchange server. I also will have a hosting server with exchange and web hosting.

I will putting this on a business circuit with only 1 static IP. My router does not support Multi-NAT and the extra IP's are too costly.

I want to use the standard NAT port forwarding for the webhosting box. The NAT router can forward port 25 and 80 to that machine. the web server can do smart url naming so it knows which site to redirect to.

I want to use ChangeIP to point my corporate mx record to another port other then 25 and forward the web address to another port otehr then 80.

I am currently using ChangeIP mail relay since it sits on a dynamic circuti for now. Can I just use dynamic DNS to accomplish both? I don't see the need to pay for mailbox storage since it will no longer be a relay.

Will the dynamic DNS allow me to specify the port to forward to for web and mx records?

Lannie

Hello,

The Dynamic DNS product allows http url redirections only. If you need to get around a port 25 smtp block then you can also use our Dynamic SMTP service for mail coming to your server. You then setup the MX records to point to us and we forward your mail on an alternate port, whatever port you specify.

Thx
