Hello all, I noticed there is no LIST button on the onscreen remote for a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300HD Digital Cable DVR box.

Is there any way to have this added or get an updated remote codes file?

Many thanks,

Regards, David

Have you tried using other manufacturer's remotes that are similar to the one you have. Have you updated your LF unt's firmware? If nothing helps, I'd call the LF Support & make a suggestion, so they could include it in their next update.

P.S. LF-X11 - the latest LF unit, has a remote control learning function.

I'm in the same boat you are with the 8300. I can get one of the digital cable remotes to work almost all the way but there is no way of showing your recorded shows. You can record you just can't watch them. The user guide for the 8300 said that the program guide had a special \"DVR\" channel and also showed it in a picture which would have worked but Brighthouse took care of that. nada. Sony will probably update the LX-F5 and add the \"learning feature\" to it and we'll be out of luck. That after spending $1,000 +. Where was the slingbox when I bought this???
