I was wandering, since I have strict security on my mail server Alt-N's Mdaemon v6.7.8, due to the threat of unauthorized relaying, and spam, Do the changeip.com mail servers smtp.changeip.com, etc. have a clustered load ballancing state or are they single servers, so that I may make the changeip.com mail server addresses exempt from my filters.

Thanks,

Ed Trdina

The ChangeIP.com mail servers are currently being expanded to include multiple servers to provide load balancing and redundancy. Currently the servers are located in the San Diego level3 facility with IPs that have not changed over the past 2 years. Once we expand though these will change most likely and will include some additional ones. You can always query the MX records for ChangeIP.com to see the IPs that we are currently using.
