A mailbox has the capability to forward email to another address. Once you add a mailbox to your account you can configure the forwards using the online console. If a mailbox is forwarding then the mail will not be stored in your mailbox. The mail server will attempt to deliver the email immediately upon receipt - and will store the message for 5-7 days until delivery can be made.
