When the remote server is SSL/TLS capable all of the email traffic will be encrypted. This benefit is done automatically if both mail servers are capable, there are no configuration options for this feature.

This means that if you have mailboxes hosted on our server, and the sending server also supports encryption, your emails will be unreadable by any other parties as they travel between servers. Excellent!

Also, if your POP3 client supports security, please turn on secure authentication so that your username and password will not be transmitted in the clear. Most email clients can support this.

If you subscribe to our dSMTP service, all mail will be encrypted between the sending server, and on to you if all mail server support SSL/TLS.
