Hi all,
I just wanted to ask a question as to the company ethics of changeip concerning what its customers have experienced. Does changeip “really” take care of their customers? Has anyone had any problems with there service, support, uptime..? Do they fix problems quickly and do they answer support questions rapidly? I’m asking because I am currently using another service and they are not the best by any means. I just wanted to check with everyone just in case I am making the wrong decision by acquiring changeip service.
Thanks in advance.

I have been using changeip.com for a number of years for both work and my own personal use. I have never had a problem with service, support or uptime. If I do have an issue I email support@changeip.com and I get a response and a solution within an hour.

The service they provide is great!

Keep up the good work Sam!

I have switched from another provider because of poor service (both technical and customer).

In the last year and a half, number of problems my customers and I experienced with ChangeIP.com services has been quite within reason, and all have been resolved to our satisfaction and fairly quickly.

One person on support/ billing/sales and can’t get back to you with an answer. I would suggest this one man business stop bring on clients until he hires more staff to deal with returning support emails. Try sending in a support question and see how long it takes for a reply. They will be losing a client really soon if they can't return emails in a timely fashion. Mad Mad

Ive been with changeip.com for over five years now.

<snip> (problems with support of my domain/account now resolved ok, thanks Sam..)

Other than the occassion 'digital wierdness', which can happen to us all, Ive found changeIP.com to be a stable and professional solution.

I proudly display their logo/link, on my homepage,

All that said ... there's something still niggling at the back of my mind, re support issues... perhaps a way to escalate tickets, if email requests not working etc ... (??) dont really know.

I've been with ChangeIP for four+ years. I've never noticed any problems with my domain names but I have never received any e-mail notifications when they're about to expire. I've sent in a few requests about this but it hasn't been resolved, though they did respond to say they'll look in to it.

I purchased a domain transfer that failed, or at least it said it failed. I waited and waited for the situation to be resolved. I emailed and didn't get a response. I called twice and didn't get a call back. Then after that the domain name I have been using since I signed up quit working, I tried to call tech support and it told me that the number was disconnected.

Now I have switched to another company and am going to cancel my account. Please advise me how you are going to rectify the situation and refund my money. If you have any questions the invoice number that shows the charges is 43015.

Update: This is the second time I have posted this in a week and still no reponse. This is not like this company I don't know what is going on. Am I not calling the right numbers or emailing the right address?
