Hello everyone,

I am currently running DD-WRT v23 SP1 firmware on my Linksys WRT54GL router. Because of my current network config, I have a need to update my ChangeIP host (dynamic dns accout) via my router rather than client software like HomeBeacon.

I was wonder if someone could show me how to set up DD-WRT to work with ChangeIP.com. I tried reading the syntax stuff in the help section and none seem to work.

The DD-WRT firmware has a custom DDNS section that has:
1) \"DNS System\" field box - max. 32 chars.
2) \"User Name\" field box - max. 32 chars.
3) \"Password\" field box - not sure how many chars.
4) \"Hostname\" field box - max 48 chars.
5) \"Additional DDNS Options\" field box - max 100+ chars.

DD-WRT uses INADYN (see h**p://inadyn.ina-tech.net/) as its DDNS daemon).

I've tried typing in different things in each box and either the box is not big enough or the router will not update anything. (I have seen this router and DD-WRT work with dyndns.org - but I would like to use ChangeIP.com instead).

Hope this is not too confusing. Thanks in advance.

Jon
