I'm considering purchasing an LFTV, but I have a question about how the IP updating works. Will my base station automatically send an update to changeIP.com if the IP changes? Because as I understand it, if I'm on the road and the IP of my base station changes and has to be updated manually, I wouldn't be able access my base station anymore, until I got home.
Thanks,

Rowan,
The DNS service you get with Change IP will monitor any changes with your IP address, so you will not have to do it manually. I have been using LF on the go and it worked just fine.

Exactly - the base station has a dynamic dns client built into it. Each few minutes it checks your IP address, and if it has changed, it sends an update to ChangeIP.com with your new IP address. So - anytime your IP changes your base station will automatically update our system and keep your hostname always pointing to the right place. Make sure that the base station NetAV light is not RED before you leave home and you should be good.
Thanks,
