I registered my laptop with my locationfree box. I went into work and it played fine. The next day the software reverted the DNS settings back to the sony default. In properties: Dynamic DNS Domain Name: B55043592459-B1-B1US.MyNetAV.com
In other words, it lost ChangeIP settings and subsequently I get the message: "Cannot connect to base station. Check you domain name or static ip..."
Why wouldn't it keep the settings? Do I have to re-register often?

Hello,
It should keep the settings you've created if not using the easy ddns thats built in (both use us anyhow). I wonder if somehow the setup wizard was walked thru again as that will override the custom ddns you've setup I believe.
If you can email support@changeip.com with your serial number of the unit we can look at the history of updates for you. The serial you posted above doesn't seem to be in the system ... did you type it wrong ?
