It depends how you want to connect and what you want to do with it. If you want to connect wirelessly in a Home mode, that most likely it won't work (Somehow Sony pairs and ties the base station and the LCD together and I have not figured out how to bind other LF LCD units to the Base in Home mode). Anyways, you should be able to bind your LF LCD in the ON THE GO mode with your friend's Base and good to enjoy it. |

Many thanks, I’m still a little stuck as to how to do it or what im doing wrong! My friend is in the UK and has just purchased and set up his base station, he can remotely view it on his laptop via the internet. He sent me his IP and nickname details and i added them to my player while he was off line (player operational) but it doesn’t connect, i note my little green thinngo next to my base station ID is green and his is lite green, like its not seeing it?? Any help would be so greatly appreciated. Many Thanks & regards

| I would suggest that you check out the resources available on this site, and especially the registration process. By just manually inputting the IP address, etc will not work unfortunately; your LF device and his Base should be bound described in one of the manuals. Hope it helps. |
