So I finally got my LF-PK1 hooked up and I can watch my TV either through my computer via a wi-fi connection, or my PSP by connecting the PSP directly through the location free base station access point.

I cannot, however, connect my PSP to my base station through the wi-fi connection on my router. Instead of connecting to the IP that I assigned the base station, it is trying to connect to the IP that is associated with the base stations access point.

To make things clearer, it is connecting to 172.79.xx.x when it should be connecting to 192.xxx.xxx.xxx.

How can I fix this?

Is your LF-PK1 connected via the LAN socket to your router, either directly, or using a bridge? I had to do this to enable it to work.

When you start location free player on the PSP you have to select the router access point (and add it as a new connection if necessary) rather than the LF-PK1 one.

hope this helps!

John.

I have the base station connected through an ethernet bridge.

When I try to connect the PSP through the router, it trys to connect to the base stations IP not the IP set through my DHCP.

I originally had problems with not being able to connect using the wireless ethernet bridge attached to my base station. I had entered the MAC address of the bridge in the bridge section of the router's software (both Belkin), but as soon as i removed this it worked. Probably not the same issue, as I couldn't connect to anything else once I'd conencted to the router.

Is your router uPNP? you could try turning this off on the base station and using port forwarding on the router if it has this - having uPNP enabled seem to keep disconnecting my PC's internet connection, but doing this solved that too. I don't know if it's relevant, but I connected the PSP directly to the base station and checked all the settings beofre trying it again through the router.

Just a few ideas for you...!
