Hi, I have following problem:

My \"external IPAdress\" (resolved thru internet webs, VNC, etc.) is x.y.z.149, but Dynamic DNS (2.0.22) seems to find x.y.z.172 (same x, same y, same z, different final IP).

It used to work, but since several days, it doesn't

So, I cannot resolve my server from abroad if I don't know the real IP address. BTW, if I use the ....149 it works perfect, if I use \"myipaddress.net\" it doesn't (what is logic due to the different IP).

Any idea ?

Other problem, I'm not able to start Dynamic DNS as service, (windows XP), even following the process explained in the support page.

Any idea also ?

Hello,

Can you try changing the outgoing port that is used to detect your IP? If you are using port 80 and a proxy is being used it will find a different IP. Try using 8080, or 1400, or 443.
