I'm using HomingBeacon 2.0.11. It detected my IP address correctly. But it does't seem to have updated it in Changeip.com's database, so this is in the log: attempting NIC update, saving config, 0 , updated score. I guess this \"0\" indicating that it's false, that it hasn't updated it yet.

Have any idea what's happening? Thanks.

Can you look into the HomingBeacon.log files to make sure there are no other errors? (Class not found possibly) I am guessing you need the regex engine which is part of the Windows Scripting Host 5.6 or greater.

I am seeing the same messages in my log file and getting a 0 status. The log file contains no other error messages.

Any suggestions?

This problem must be having since my last successful ip updates since 11/May/ 2005

The client it self report it scored, but actually it is not updating the record on the ChangeIp's DNS.

the Log details saying,
Attempting NIC Update.
HTTP:-2147221020 Invalid syntax.
Saving Config.
0
Updated Score.

At the moment is there any work around ??
THis is causing my busines losing lots emails!!!

Please fix urgently.

Can you email support@changeip.com with a logfile from your instance showing this problem so we can determine where it is happening?

Thx,
Sam
