When I got my 7\" LocationFree TV, I was under the impression that the base station Can commincate wirelessly with my router.

I have been in touch with Sony Support since July and I still can't get the base station to communicate wirelessly with my router.

I tried to set up a DMZ on my router but the base station's IP address starts with 172.

All routers don't recognize anything with an IP address that starts lower than 192.

My friend's 12.1\" LocationFree IP address begins with 192, so he has no problems.

Any ideas as to what I need to do to get the Base Station to work wirelessly with my router.

I use a Sony wireless converter (PCWA-DE80 a/b/g/ ;DE30 b/g or DE50 802.11a) with my base to communicate wirelessly to the wireless router/access point.
